Provaluta Analysis Laboratory in Karlsruhe-Rheinhafen


Via sampling and the so-called ICP OES analysis* we achieve a representative depiction of the delivered total quantity of monoliths.

This is the basis for the precious metal contents invoice for the client.

 



Measuring principle

Provaluta Multi-element analysis

  • Spraying of the liquid sample into an atomaizer of ICP OES*
  • The arising aerosol will be fed into argon plasma.
  • Atoms and ions arise at temperatures of 6000 - 8000 K.
  • Stimulation of atoms and ions to light emmision through the plasma.
  • Specztal decomposition of the emitted light in the spectrometer,
  • Identification of the elements using the wave lengths of the emitted light.
  • The quantities are shown in the intensities.


*ICP OES is the optical emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma.
